Royal Rajasthan
Live like royalty in the land of forts and palaces
Rajasthan · DomesticDemo
Jaipur, Jodhpur and Udaipur by private car, with nights in heritage hotels, expert guides and time to savour each city.
Overview
This classic Rajasthan circuit follows the royal road from Jaipur to Udaipur, travelling by private chauffeur-driven car with experienced local guides in each city. Hotels are chosen for character — restored havelis and palace properties that feel part of the story.
We have deliberately allowed two or three nights in each city so that you can explore at a comfortable pace: morning visits to forts before the heat, afternoons at leisure, and evenings for rooftop dinners and folk performances.
Add Jaisalmer and a desert camp, Ranthambore for tigers, or Agra for the Taj Mahal at the start of the trip.
Your chauffeur meets you at the airport or station and drives you to a restored heritage haveli. In the evening, visit Birla Mandir and the illuminated old city.
Begin early at Amber Fort before the crowds, then return to the city for the City Palace, Jantar Mantar and a photo stop at Hawa Mahal. The evening is free to explore the bazaars of Johari and Bapu.
A slower day for a block-printing workshop in nearby Bagru, a visit to the Albert Hall Museum or simply time by the pool. Optional rooftop dinner overlooking Nahargarh.
Travel west across the Rajasthani countryside to Jodhpur (approximately six hours with stops). Settle into a heritage hotel beneath the walls of Mehrangarh.
Explore Mehrangarh Fort and its museum, followed by Jaswant Thada and a guided walk through the blue lanes of the old city. In the evening, enjoy a private folk music and dance performance.
Drive through the Aravalli hills, stopping at the exquisitely carved Jain temples of Ranakpur. Continue to Udaipur, arriving in time for an evening by the lake.
Visit the City Palace, Jagdish Temple and Saheliyon ki Bari. As the sun sets, take a boat ride on Lake Pichola past the Lake Palace and Jag Mandir.
A free day for a cooking class, a miniature painting workshop or a drive to the Monsoon Palace for sweeping views. A farewell dinner can be arranged at a lakeside restaurant.
After breakfast, transfer to Udaipur airport for your onward journey.
