Overview
Discover Switzerland
Snow-capped summits, glassy lakes and immaculate villages linked by some of the world's most scenic trains — Switzerland is Europe at its most serene, in every season.
Travel at the speed of scenery
Switzerland is best experienced slowly. Its integrated rail network — including the Glacier Express and the GoldenPass line — turns every transfer into a journey worth taking. A Swiss Travel Pass covers most trains, buses and lake steamers, and we plan routes so that luggage moves ahead of you while you enjoy the view.
Classic bases
Lucerne offers a graceful lakeside town with easy access to Mount Titlis and Mount Pilatus. Interlaken sits between two lakes beneath the Jungfrau, the gateway to Jungfraujoch. Zermatt, car-free and dominated by the Matterhorn, is pure Alpine drama, while Geneva and Montreux bring a French-speaking elegance along Lake Geneva.
Every season, a different country
Summer is for meadow walks, cable cars and lake cruises; winter for skiing, Christmas markets and fondue in mountain huts. Spring and autumn are quieter and beautifully lit — ideal for couples and senior travellers who prefer a gentler pace.
