????️ The 5N/6D Route Overview

• Colombo (Arrival) ➔ Kandy (1 Night) ➔ Nuwara Eliya (1 Night) ➔ Bentota (2 Nights) ➔ Colombo (1 Night & Departure)

Day 1: Arrival & Journey to the Cultural Capital (Kandy)

• Morning/Afternoon: Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB) in Colombo. Head straight to Kandy (approx. 3.5 hours drive).

• En-route stop: Visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage to see rescued elephants bathing in the river.

• Evening: Reach Kandy, check into your hotel, and attend a traditional Kandy Cultural Dance Show.

• Overnight: Kandy.                                                                                                                                                                  

Day 2: Kandy Exploration to "Little England" (Nuwara Eliya)              

• Morning: Visit the sacred Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa), located inside the royal palace complex.

• Mid-Day: Drive towards the misty hills of Nuwara Eliya (approx. 2.5 hours). Stop along the way to see the cascading Ramboda Waterfalls and tour a lush Tea Factory & Plantation to sample authentic Ceylon tea.

• Evening: Stroll around the colonial town of Nuwara Eliya, visit Gregory Lake, or relax at Victoria Park.

• Overnight: Nuwara Eliya.

Day 3: Nuwara Eliya to the Coastal Paradise (Bentota)

• Morning: Enjoy a scenic drive down the mountains toward Bentota (approx. 5 hours). You can alternatively take the iconic train ride from Nuwara Eliya part of the way for incredible views.

• Afternoon: Arrive in Bentota and check into your beach resort. Spend the rest of the day relaxing on the golden sands of Bentota Beach.

• Overnight: Bentota.

Day 4: Coastal Activities & Galle Day Trip

• Morning: Take a day trip to the historic city of Galle (approx. 1 hour from Bentota). Walk through the cobblestone paths of Galle Fort (a UNESCO World Heritage Site).

• Afternoon: Head back toward Bentota and enjoy a relaxing Madu River Mangrove Boat Safari. Stop by the Kosgoda Sea Turtle Hatchery to see conservation projects up close.

• Overnight: Bentota.

Day 5: Bentota to the Capital City (Colombo)

• Morning: Drive back to Colombo (approx. 2 hours).

• Afternoon: Embark on a Colombo city sightseeing and shopping tour. Highlights include Independence Square, the Gangarama Temple, Galle Face Green, and shopping hubs like ODEL.

• Overnight: Colombo.

Day 6: Departure

• After breakfast, grab any last-minute souvenirs and transfer to the airport for your flight home
