Day 1: Arrival in Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) at Tan Son Nhat International Airport. - Check into your hotel. In the afternoon visit the War Remnants Museum. This is one of the oldest museums in Vietnam. It was established to show the real and brutal truth about the Vietnam War - Explore the Reunification Palace. This 60's designed palace gives you much to contemplate with Vietnam's recent history. Good text panels explain the significance of each room and the basement is especially evocative of the period.

Evening: - Enjoy dinner at a local Vietnamese restaurant. - Stroll along Bui Vien Street for nightlife. 

Day 2: Mekong Delta Day Trip Morning: Depart early for a Mekong Delta tour (guided tour).The Mekong Delta in southern Vietnam is a vast maze of rivers, swamps and islands, home to floating markets, Khmer pagodas and villages surrounded by rice paddies. Boats are the main means of transportation, and tours of the region often start in nearby Ho Chi Minh City. Take a boat ride through the waterways, visit local villages.

Afternoon: - Enjoy lunch with a local family or at a riverside restaurant. - Visit a coconut candy factory and a traditional workshop.

Evening: - Return to Ho Chi Minh City. - Explore local markets and return to hotel for dinner.

Day 3: Fly to Siem Reap (Cambodia) Morning: - Fly from Ho Chi Minh City to Siem Reap. - Check into your hotel.

Afternoon: - Visit the ruins of Angkor, the seat of the Khmer kingdom from the 9th–15th centuries. Angkor’s vast complex of intricate stone buildings includes preserved Angkor Wat, the main temple, which is pictured on Cambodia’s flag. Angkor Wat, the largest religious monument in the world. Evening: - Have dinner at a restaurant in Siem Reap. - Explore the night market for souvenirs.

Day 4: Start with the Angkor Temples Exploration. Visit the Bayon Temple and the Terrace of the Elephants. The 350 meter-long Terrace of Elephants was used as a giant reviewing stand for public ceremonies and served as a base for the king's grand audience hall

Afternoon: - Visit Banteay Srei for its intricate carvings. This is a 10th century Cambodian temple dedicated to the Hindu Gods Shiva and Parvati. The buildings themselves are miniature in scale when measured by the standards of Angkorian construction. This structure is widely praised as the jewel of Khmer art.

Evening: - Dinner at a local restaurant. - Attend a traditional Apsara dance performance.

Day 5: Tonle Sap Lake and Local Culture

Morning - Take a tour to Tonle Sap Lake to see floating villages.

Afternoon: - Return to Siem Reap and visit local markets or the Angkor National Museum.

Evening: - Enjoy a farewell dinner in Siem Reap.

Day 6: Departure Morning: - Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for last-minute shopping or sightseeing.

Afternoon: - Fly back to Ho Chi Minh City or your departure city.
