The home of the Royal Bengal Tiger. This mangrove forest in the delta of the Ganga, Brahmaputra and Meghna is a protected UNESCO heritage site. The Sundarbans are accessible only through riverine water ways.

Day 1: Fly from Delhi to Kolkata- drive to Bokkhali [appx 3.5 hrs]- Transfer from Bokkhali to resort by motor launch. Enjoy island cruise before checking into resport.

Day 2: After breakfast take manual row boats to smaller islands. Visit local village in Sundarbans. Return to resort. Evening spent with a show of local folk dancing. Dinner and retire.

Day 3: check out of resort and take motor boat to Bokkhali and drive back to Kolkata.

Day 4: Night stay in Kolkata [optional] Flight to Delhi.
