Note: Every Indian tourist visiting Arunachal Pradesh has to obtain ILP (Inner Line Permit) at Bhalukpong border before entering the state against submission of photo identity card and two copies of passport size photographs.

DAY 1 Arrival in Itanagar & Transfer to Bhalukpong [117 kms; 3 hr 30 mins appx]
Welcome to the Land of the Rising Sun! Upon arrival at Itanagar, you'll be taken to Bhalukpong driving past lush greenery, rolling hills, and the mighty Brahmaputra River. Check-in at Bhalukpong and rest for a while. Enjoy the rest of the day indulging in various activities like kayaking and river rafting on the Kameng River. Return to your hotel and enjoy your overnight stay
DAY 2 Bhalukpong - Dirang [130 kms; 4 hrs appx]
After breakfast at hotel, check-out for the drive to Dirang. En route, halt at the banks of the river Bharali to explore a striking orchidarium with over 500 species of orchids. Next stop- visit the famous Nag Temple. Upon arrival in Dirang, check-into your hotel, and spend a relaxed afternoon visiting local apple and kiwi farms. Continue to the Dirang and Kalachakra Monasteries. Return to hotel for the evening.
DAY 3 Dirang - Tawang [139 kms; 4 hrs 15 mins appx]
Check out after breakfast for the drive to Tawang, driving past scenic views of the beautiful Sela Pass and Sela Lake. Next, take a stop to visit the Jaswant Garh War Memorial, a significant historical site located near the Sela Pass, and the beautiful Nuranang Falls. Upon your arrival in Tawang, check-into your hotel. Spend the evening in exploring the local markets and a meal at a local eatery. Return to hotel for the night.
DAY 4 Tawang Sightseeing:
Spend the day in visiting various local attractions in Tawang; notably the the Tawang Monastery, which is the largest Buddhist monastery in India. the Urgelling Gompa, the 6th Dalai Lama’s birthplace. Later visit the Tawang War Memorial. End the day with a visit to the craft center in Tawang to see the beautiful masks, hand-woven carpets, and silver jewellery and locally sources semi precious stones. Drive back to hotel.
DAY 5 Day Trip to Bumla Pass [35 kms; 1 hr 15 mins appx]
After breakfast in hotel, drive out for a day trip to Bumla Pass. On your way, visit the picturesque Shonga-tser Lake, a high-altitude lake [also known as Madhuri Lake] and Sangetsar Lake, nestled amidst the pristine mountains, The Bumla Pass is a border between the Tsona County in Tibet and Tawang Distt in India. This is currently a trading point between Tibet and India. This is also the meeting point for Border personnel. Return to the hotel for the evening.
Day 6 Tawang - Bomdila [177 kms; 5 hrs appx]
Check-out after breakfast and drive to Bomdila. Check-into your hotel, and without wasting time, start on a half day city tour. Visit the Gontse Rabgyaling Monastery, famous for its rich heritage and amazing views. Continue to the Thub-Chog Gatsel Ling Monastery, one of the most significant and largest monasteries in India. Return to the hotel for a relaxed meal and over night stay.
DAY 7 Bomdila - Itanagar [[269 kms; 6 hrs appx]
In the morning, check-out, and board your transfer to enjoy a scenic journey towards Itanagar. Take a trip to the Ita Fort, one of the most important historical sites in Arunachal Pradesh. Enjoy a meal of Thukpa and steamed momos.
DAY 8 Departure from Itanagar
Pack in all your belongings along with the scenic memories of this gorgeous state. Check out of Hotel and drive to the airport for your return flight.
